This 7  night’s trip which includes 5 full riding days in Wadi Rum is our most popular ride. This ride covers most of the Wadi Rum Protected Area with a changing landscape all the time. During new year ride weather can be cold at night, we are based in our beautifull camp located in the heart of Wadi Rum protected area. Facing south west, beautifull evening sunsets!

Day 1

D Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), where you will be met and transfered to your hotel in Madaba. Hotel night in DBL room

Day 2

BD Breakfast followed by a road transfer on the desert highway for 3 hour & a half to Petra, Petra visit with Jordanian English speaking guide around 3 hours then free visit for the rest of the day. Lunch box can be provided by our hotel on request. Lunch not included in Petra Hotel night Petra in DBL room HB

Day 3

BLD New year ‘s eve Early transfer to Wadi Rum Stable , wich is located in Wadi Rum village center, meet the horses and local team . After a nice Welcome tea, Suliman your horse guide from Al Oweitat tribe born in Wadi Rum,and horse man will give you a nice horse for the week. Our horses are all Pure Arabians from Jordan mares and Geldings. Set off riding South in direction ok Khazali canyon,we will ride until our based camp of Raaka mountain located in the heart of Wadi Rum. Nice confortable camp with shower and toilets. Double tent or single with supplement, tents are confortable with field bed and good mattresses. Our team will prepare a nice dinner for New year ‘s eve called mansaf, it is the Jordanian traditional dish made of lamb cooked in a sauce of fermented yogurt and serve with rice! Local musicians might visit us to play Oud ! oud is considered to be the king of instruments by Arabs! Dinner & night camping.

Day 4

BLD Breakfast in camp, and then ride towards Burdha arch area. Crossing nice sandy red sand canyons and lunch at the bottom of Burdha mountain. Afternoon ride on nice track with beautifull view on Wadi Rum red mountains! Arrival at the camp not too late to dry our horses, evenings are cold in the desert and sunset at 4.30 pm.. Nice warm tea prepared by our team will be waiting for you after an exalting day! Bedouins pride themselves on virtues such as bravery, generosity and hospitality, according to the local. The well-known hospitality is incomplete without the presence of coffee. Coffee is more than a mere drink for bedouins, Suliman will explain that every household must have coffee as it is a testimony that the host is always ready to receive guests ! Day 5

BLD After breakfast, direction of Barrah Pyramids! through Barrah Canyon another spectacular canyon in Wadi Rum surrounded by high cliffs where we often see climbers. At the end of the canyon, we reach our lunch place. Suliman your guide will find the best ways to cross, secret canyons to reach the camp before sunset! Dinner & camping night

Day 6

BLD This day we are riding south est, crossing nice valleys, and visiting nice little arch called”Um Fruth.”. Nice afternoon ride on beautifull tracks, our horses are well trained they are happy to go back to the desert stable! Dinner & camping night

Day 7

BLD After your last breakfast in our lovely camp prepare by our team, you might have a chance to drinck camel milk! Breakfast and then ride South West towards the south end of Um ishrin Canyon. Very nice scenery. Continue towards Anafishia area and the red sand dune valley ,and then through the main valley of Wadi Rum stopping in front of Lawrence House which had a narrow siq (canyon) that collects water in the winter & spring time. And end our ride at the stable. We will stop the ride earlier to get a chance to arrive not too late in Madaba for a last dinner in Haret Jdoudna restaurant wich is an old house located in Madaba center! Excellent food!!
